Pacification - 3WW - CXC (dread, grasp, pacify)

Pacify your sense of dread
with a trip within your mind
lost in peaceful solitude
your troubles left behind

Quench your thirst for freedom
with a dance of terse sensation
climb the walled crescendo
in unbridled exaltation

Grasp the feeding ring of fire
with hands of tempered steel
lose your thoughts of memory
and trust your instincts' feel

This struck a cord with me, as I'm trying to listen to my inner-self and make decisions on my future, my writing future.

I like it. Each stanza fits nicely with the next.

Very nice piece. We should all do this more often.

trust your instincts feel
if only :) Nice! And scary for those of us wrestling with the future when we should be at a settled stage in life

Very musical verse, Larry. I like
"trust your instincts' feel" Really drives the intuitive sense home.

Thanks guys. Decisions about the future are forever in our path aren't they? I think - at this moment - that decisions of how to make the present as we'd like the future to be are more prudent. ...and perhaps fractally resposible.

Hmmm, Fractal Responsibility - a new philosophy?

Peace,
